Summit Polymers is seeking an Engineer, Manufacturing (Molding) to lead hands-on injection molding operations for automotive interior trim components. You will drive tooling development, process stability, and automation integration across molding presses and EOAT systems.

Responsibilities include mold trials, process optimization, and collaboration with plant teams to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent required.
Scientific injection molding knowledge and hands on mold process development ability preferred.
Molding automation / EOAT knowledge and hands on molding robot programming ability preferred.
Knowledge of gasoline-assist, sequential valve gate processing, and multi-material molding preferred.
Ability to read and critique drawings and contribute to high-quality mold designs.

Responsabilités

Develop molding tools and processes for new products and optimize part design for quality.
Lead mold trials, process development, and corrective action plans for new molds.
Implement molding automation, EOAT, and robot interfaces; document control processes.
Coordinate preventive maintenance inputs and mold/tooling storage and handling.
Improve production molding operations by reducing cycle times, scrap, and downtime; support safety and quality systems.
