Job summary

DECKED is seeking a Molding Operator in Defiance, OH to support injection molding and assembly operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will run molding equipment, assemble components, inspect for quality, follow SOPs, and collaborate with teammates to meet production targets while ensuring safety and cleanliness.

Required basics include a high school diploma, ability to read technical drawings, familiarity with hand tools, and a willingness to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in injection molding machine operation and assembly is preferred.
• Basic understanding of injection molding processes and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions.
• Proficient in using hand tools and small power tools for assembly tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and quality consciousness.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and meet production targets.
• Effective problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude toward process improvement.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly tasks, combining molded components and other parts to create finished products.
• Utilize hand tools, fixtures, and equipment to assemble parts accurately and efficiently.
• Conduct visual and functional checks of assembled products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Identify and report any defects or deviations from specifications during the assembly process.
