Job summary

DECKED LLC seeks a Molding Operator to run injection molding presses and assemble molded components with attention to quality and durability. You will read technical drawings, use hand tools, and work in a fast-paced production setting to meet production targets.

This role emphasizes teamwork, strict safety protocols, and ongoing quality improvements to maintain DECKED's high standards for products.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in injection molding machine operation and assembly preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions.
• Proficient in using hand tools and small power tools for assembly tasks.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly tasks, combining molded components and other parts to create finished products.
• Utilize hand tools, fixtures, and equipment to assemble parts accurately and efficiently.
• Conduct visual and functional checks of assembled products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Identify and report any defects or deviations from specifications during the assembly process.
• Quality Assurance: Follow SOPs and quality control guidelines to ensure consistent product quality.
• Conduct inspections of finished products to verify they meet DECKED's specifications and standards.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, providing feedback and suggestions for process enhancements.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and keep the work area clean and organized.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve production targets and meet customer demands.
• Communicate effectively to report issues or updates during production.
• Assist and support colleagues in different areas as needed.
