Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; equivalent field experience considered.
• 3+ years of Process Technician experience.
• Knowledge of plastic materials and their characteristics.
• Understanding of mold construction.
• Basic math and computer skills; able to work a press HMI.
• Robot programming and troubleshooting experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Forklift and crane operating experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process and operate Injection Molding and Blow Molding machines
• Monitor, maintain, and improve molding cycle times and part quality
• Launch new molds and obtain first piece approval
• Develop operating instructions in coordination with QA
• Manage mold change process to optimize uptime and reduce changeover times
• Program and troubleshoot injection molding robots
• Handle and clean tooling and equipment to avoid damage
• Set molds per schedule to meet quality standards
• Check parts for quality and complete required logs
• Assist maintenance on molding and related equipment
