Job summary

Qualifications

• Completed 3-year technical vocational training (e.g., tool mechanic) or comparable qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of practical experience in repair and maintenance of injection molds.
• Proficient in disassembly, assembly and reworking of injection molds and tooling.
• Strong knowledge of tool repair processes, including spotting, measuring, and other precision work.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and implement dimensional changes accurately.
• Hands-on experience with milling, grinding, and eroding.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain injection molds in accordance with internal specifications to support production.
• Independently carry out tool repairs based on documented tool complaints, adhering to set specifications.
• Perform disassembly and assembly of injection molds with accuracy.
• Execute skilled bench tasks such as spotting, measuring, and precision adjustments.
• Document dimensional changes directly on technical drawings.
• Inspect tools for wear, replace defective parts, rework tools and molds as required.
• Test repaired tools and molds to ensure they meet specifications.
• Update and maintain MES following repair or maintenance activities.
• Perform regular tool inspections and diagnose issues, replacing wear parts as needed.
