Job summary

BD in Puerto Rico is seeking an on-site Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on tooling and molds, program and operate machinery, and document test data. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with tooling/molds or manufacturing is beneficial.
• Willingness to work on-site in Anasco, PR.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on tooling/molds and related equipment; record device history data.
• Manufacture and/or modify existing tooling/molds, fixtures and metal assemblies using CNC machines and welding equipment.
• Evaluate tooling/molds for product and process improvement.
• Participate in product and tooling investigations for non-conformance issues.
• Program, set up and operate all machines.
• Collect and document test data.
• Maintain, clean and organize machinery and work area; train others; participate in lean six sigma improvements.
• Ensure on-time attendance and full shift work.
