American Plastics is seeking a Tool Technician to support our production by setting and repairing molds in our injection molding operations. The role ensures molds are correctly inserted and maintained to meet production goals.

Qualified applicants have 5–7 years mold repair experience, be able to pass a background check and drug screen, and be prepared to obtain forklift certification. We offer a safe, clean environment and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years of repairing molds in an injection molding facility.
• Forklift operation experience.
• Willing to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Pull and set molds into press for production runs.
• Pull and reset molds for repairs.
• Move and set secondary equipment.
• Use of basic hand tools.
• Obtain forklift certification.
