Job summary

CCL is seeking an Injection Mold Process Technician to support shift production by setting and maintaining molds and related equipment. The role requires collaborating with multiple departments to meet customer quality and production goals and to back up the Production Supervisor as needed.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in mold setting for plastic injection molding, strong mechanical aptitude, and a solid understanding of safety practices.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented with strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Cross-functional team player who can support supervisor and other positions as needed.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Familiarity with safety practices and ISO 9001 awareness.
• Able to work any shift or split shift to ensure production coverage.

Responsibilities

• Complete mold changes per production schedule following checklists to ensure proper setup.
• Start up and shut down presses according to procedures.
• Adjust presses to ensure product quality and perform mold maintenance as assigned.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and complete documentation accurately.
• Provide back-up to supervision and help manage labor utilization and reporting.
