G&W Electric is seeking a Mold/Tooling Set Up Technician for a 6:00am to 6:00pm A shift in Bolingbrook, IL. You will set up, start up, break down and maintain molds, coordinate with planning and toolng for configurations, and ensure traceability of molds in a busy molding facility.

You will inspect setups, perform preventive maintenance, operate cranes/forklifts, and train others as needed. A reliable high school diploma and English communication are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in injection molding and mold set-ups.
• Strong mechanical skills and dexterity.
• Ability to safely operate a Power Industrial Truck/Forklift.
• Ability to safely operate cranes/hoists.
• Possess and maintain valid driver’s license.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork.
• Good written and verbal communication in English.
• Experience using small hand and power tools.
• High School diploma, GED or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Set up molds in coordination with planning to production needs.
• Break down mold configurations after production.
• Maintain mold inventory and organization for traceability.
• Coordinate repairs with Tooling Department for machining or guidance.
• Perform planned maintenance on tooling, including cleaning and replacing worn bolts and bushings.
• Inspect final mold setup to ensure successful implementation.
• Use cranes/forklifts to handle mold setups and storage.
• Document actions on production and quality forms.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues at various levels.
