Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, is seeking a Set-Up Technician in Valdosta, Georgia. The role involves installing and removing molds and lines for molding machines, maintaining mold equipment, and following safety procedures.

Requirements include at least 2 years in injection molding, forklift/crane experience, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Excellent hands-on skills with hand and power tools are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of injection molding experience.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools.
• Experience removing and installing molds in plastics machines.
• Ability to communicate effectively, verbally or in writing.

Responsibilities

• Follows procedures to remove molds: water/hydraulic lines, nozzles, heater blocks, unclamping molds.
• Follows procedures to install molds: water/hydraulic lines, nozzles, heater blocks, clamping molds.
• Cleans and repairs molding nozzles.
• Wires heater bands.
• Installs/removes inserts for molds.
• Rigs molds for removal and installation.
• Transports molds in facility using crane and forklift.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety of mold components and tools.
• Other duties as assigned.
