Rust Belt Recruiting is seeking a Die Setter for a Northeast Ohio plastic injection molding facility. The role focuses on safe installation, setup, and troubleshooting of molds and auxiliary systems to ensure production readiness and minimal downtime.

The candidate should have 2+ years in plastic injection molding or mold setting, knowledge of hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and a commitment to quality. Forklift/crane certification or willingness to obtain is required.

Qualificações

• 2+ years of experience in plastic injection molding or mold setting.
• Knowledge of mold components, tooling systems, hydraulic, pneumatic, and cooling systems.
• Understand basic plastic injection molding processes and machine operations.
• Forklift and/or overhead crane certification or willingness to obtain.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Strong time management and organizational abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Install, remove, and secure injection molds according to production schedules.
• Set up and connect auxiliary equipment including water lines, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical connections.
• Perform mold changes efficiently to meet production targets and minimize downtime.
• Verify proper mold alignment, clamping, and functionality prior to startup.
• Start up machines and adjust basic parameters to achieve acceptable part quality.
• Monitor equipment during startup to ensure proper operation and part conformance.
• Follow all safety procedures including lockout/tagout requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation for setups, changes, and downtime.
• Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to improve changeover efficiency and reduce scrap.
