Job summary

Prysmian is seeking a Process Technician to setup and run molding and related equipment in a fast-paced plastics manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for machine setup, operation, and maintenance, ensuring daily production schedules are met safely and efficiently.

The role requires hands-on experience with molding processes, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and accurate daily reporting. English proficiency and a High School diploma are required. Multiple shifts available in Texas.

Qualifications

3+ years of related molding plastics processing and maintenance experience.
Experience in machine start-up and shutdown; knowledge of basic machine functions.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Basic data entry skills.
High School diploma or GED; English proficiency required.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate material handling, molding, finishing and assembly equipment.
Mold changes and machine adjustments as needed.
Start up and shut down molding machines.
Operate forklift to move and organize molds.
Maintain daily process records to control machine running conditions.
Inspect machines hourly to ensure quality parts and prevent defects.
Follow safety and 5S housekeeping standards.
