Job summary

Switchcraft/Conxall, a leading provider of connectivity solutions, is seeking an Injection Mold Machine Operator in Chicago, IL. The role involves loading materials, operating an automatic injection molding machine, and inspecting finished parts on a Monday–Friday shift.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to work both independently and in a team. Prior molding experience is preferred, but training is available if needed. EOE.

• Must be able to follow instructions given by supervisor or team leader.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Previous molding experience preferred but can train an individual with prior machine experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate automatic injection molding machine.
• Load pre-mixed powder or pellets into hopper.
• Insert product to be molded into mold and close die, start cycle.
• Remove finished parts and inspect them, break off excess material if needed.

As a US manufacturer of connectors and cables, Switchcraft/Conxall continues to grow by releasing innovative new products and working directly with OEM design engineers to solve their biggest connectivity challenges.

Currently, we are seeking an Injection Mold Machine Operator to join our team. The Injection Mold Machine operator operates an automatic injection molding machine. Loads pre-mixed powder or pellets into hopper. Inserts product to be molded into mold and pushes two buttons to close the die. When cycle is completed, machine opens automatically and operator removes finished parts and inspects them. May break off excess material.

On Site position Chicago, IL (Jefferson Park)

Shift

Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:00 pm

Pay

$17.60/Hour

• Previous molding experience preferred but can train an individual with prior machine experience.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Must be able follow instructions given by team leader or supervisor
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
