Job summary

Switchcraft/Conxall in Chicago, IL is seeking an Injection Mold Machine Operator to run an automatic molding press, load materials, insert parts and monitor cycles. The role requires following supervisor instructions, maintaining quality and safety standards, and working with a team.

Candidates with prior molding experience are preferred, but training can be provided. High school diploma or equivalent required. Shift: Mon-Fri 7:00am-3:00pm. Pay: $17.60/hour plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Load pre-mixed powder or pellets into hopper.
• Inspect finished parts after cycle.
• Follow instructions from team leader or supervisor.
• Work both independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Loads pre-mixed powder or pellets into hopper and loads material.
• Inserts product into mold, starts cycle, and monitors press operation.
• Removes finished parts, inspects for defects and breaks off excess material if needed.
