Job summary

Switchcraft/Conxall, a leading connector and cable supplier, seeks an Injection Mold Machine Operator for our Chicago, IL facility. You will load materials, operate the automatic injection molding machine, insert parts into the mold, and inspect finished products to ensure quality.

This on-site role offers a Monday–Friday shift from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm with a pay rate of $17.60 per hour. Training is available for candidates with related machine experience and a high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• Previous molding experience preferred but training may be provided.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to follow instructions from team leader or supervisor
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment

Responsibilities

• Operates an automatic injection molding machine.
• Loads pre-mixed powder or pellets into hopper.
• Inserts product into mold and closes the die.
• Removes finished parts and inspects them.
• May break off excess material.
