Job summary

IDEAL Industries is seeking a Mold Cleaner to maintain plastic injection molds, perform disassembly and basic repairs, and ensure mold readiness according to production schedules.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of mold maintenance experience, with the ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work as part of a team. General operating guidelines will be provided by the Tool Room Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required, plus 2+ years' mold maintenance experience.
• Experience with injection mold functionality, disassembly and maintenance.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs, with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain plastic injection molds and document maintenance activities.
• Ensure tool readiness according to production schedule.
• Communicate problems to appropriate personnel.
• Fabricate or machine replacement parts for repair of equipment.
• Estimate mold fabrication/repair items as required.
• Maintain housekeeping and mold storage requirements.
• Utilize drawings and inspection equipment as necessary.
• Participate as a member of a Project Team as required.
• Perform other related duties as necessary.
