Job summary

Battelle is seeking a Senior Inhalation Technician for the Inhalation Technology Group in West Jefferson, OH. This full-time role supports aerosol and vapor generation systems with minimal supervision, maintaining equipment, logs, and QA data.

Candidates should have an Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s preferred), GLP knowledge, and proficiency with Excel/Word/Access/SharePoint. Willingness to work in BSL‑2/BSL‑3 environments and pass vaccine, drug screening, and security checks is required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in a related field; certifications may be expected.
• Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) knowledge for non-clinical studies.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, Access and SharePoint.
• Detail-oriented, able to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Willing to work in BSL-2/BSL-3 environments and wear respiratory protection.
• Immunization and drug screening may be required; SRA/Select Agent approvals possible.
• U.S. citizenship required for duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist in construction and maintenance of aerosol and vapor systems.
• Conduct aerosol generation and exposure activities.
• Collect and record data related to generation activities.
• Assist in QC and technical review of data; maintain logbooks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
