Job summary

Hydro is seeking a Production Supervisor in our casting operations in Pennsylvania to lead the shift, engage employees, and drive continuous improvement. You will plan and coordinate production output, manage schedules, and ensure resources are used efficiently to meet customer commitments. Reports to the Assistant Manager- Remelting.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and operational excellence in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years experience in casting operations preferred.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred; must lead a team effectively.
• Strong communication and collaboration with team members, leaders, and customers.

Job Summary:

The Production Supervisor is a supervisory leadership role responsible for active management of the department output that emphasizes employee engagement, training/development, and continuous improvement to deliver sustainable results against the goals of the organization. This position is responsible for supervising personnel and production activities of the casting functions. The role plans and coordinates production output as well as support schedules to meet customer requirements and company commitments, effectively utilizing team members, materials, equipment, and other company resources within assigned area. This position reports to the Assistant Manager- Remelting.

Required Education/Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent..

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

• 3 plus years of casting operations knowledge preferred.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred
• Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism in difficult and stressful situations.
• Two-way communicator who actively listens to team members, leaders, business partners and customers.
• Highly committed to continuous improvement applying innovative solutions with a customer first mindset.
• Create a culture of safety while applying and implementing workplace policies.
• Administer the CBA (collective bargaining agreement) consistently and effectively.
• Values different opinions and is open to ideas and perspective from others.
