Job summary

Qcells North America is seeking an experienced Ingot Equipment Technician Supervisor in Cartersville, GA. You will lead a team of hourly technicians, oversee shift equipment maintenance, and ensure safety and reliability of manufacturing assets.

Responsibilities include coordinating PMs, troubleshooting, maintaining logs, and driving continuous improvement across the shift. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

5+ years in a maintenance, equipment, or technical role within manufacturing.
5+ years in leadership, lead technician, or supervisory capacity.
Strong preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment reliability knowledge.
Familiarity with LOTO, safety standards, and OSHA/EHS compliance.
Able to read equipment manuals, schematics, and technical docs.
Proficient with CMMS or digital maintenance tracking systems.
Organized in managing multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
Excellent interpersonal and cross-department communication skills.

Responsibilities

Monitor equipment condition and performance to maximize availability and minimize downtime.
Coordinate and verify preventive maintenance tasks; support corrective maintenance.
Assist in diagnosing malfunctions and on-shift troubleshooting with engineering support.
Maintain accurate maintenance logs, downtime tracking, and reports.
Train and coach technicians on procedures, safety, and troubleshooting.
Enforce lockout/tagout procedures and safety protocols during servicing.
Develop and improve maintenance standards, docs, and training materials.
Participate in equipment commissioning, process validation, and improvement initiatives.
Directly supervise hourly technicians on your shift; ensure coverage and tasks.
Track attendance, punctuality, and timecard accuracy for team members.
Schedule technicians and manage shift coverage with department leadership.
Address performance issues and disciplinary matters per policy.
Conduct performance reviews, coaching, and development plans.
Foster accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement on shift.
Serve as primary contact for equipment issues on shift and coordinate with other departments.
