• Unit-based licensure as required (e.g., NPR, STABLE).
• Continuing education: 10 contact hours every two years.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate independent care to a unit-specific patient population.
• Serve as a clinical resource and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
• Support charge nurse decisions and serve as charge nurse when needed.
• Assist in development of clinical protocols and standards.
• Act as preceptor/mentor to new nurses and students.
