Job summary

Centerpoint Health - Winchester is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Infusion on a PRN basis. You’ll join a team delivering intravenous therapies and collaborating with infusion services to ensure safe, effective patient care.

Requirements include an active RN license in Kentucky, an associate degree in nursing (bachelor’s preferred), and BLS. Hours are weekdays, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with a 4-shift-in-6-week requirement. Compensation details are provided with benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing (required).
• Bachelor's degree in nursing (preferred).
• KY RN licensure or compact licensure (required).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).

Responsibilities

• Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care.
• Documents patient care provided.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers and discharge.
• Evaluates learning needs and provides patient/family education tailored to age, culture, condition.
