Job summary

VIVO Infusion in North Haven, CT is seeking a dedicated Infusion Registered Nurse to administer infusion treatments, monitor patients, and perform IV insertions in a per diem role. A valid RN license and CPR/BLS are required, with at least 1 year of IV experience.

Infusion and CRNI certifications are preferred. The role reports to the Clinical Operations Manager and covers alternating Saturdays, 7:30am–5:00pm, at our North Haven location.

Qualifications

• Current valid state RN licensure required.
• Graduate of accredited Nursing Associates/Bachelor’s degree required.
• ONC certification preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year IV infusion experience required.
• Infusion experience preferred.
• CRNI certification preferred.
• ICU/ED experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in infusion settings.
• Calculate, mix, and administer medications.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after infusion treatments.
• Manage inventory and supply orders.
• Document assessments and report to medical staff.
• Perform IV insertions accurately.
• Communicate with providers via Telehealth as needed.
• Support CQI improvement activities.
• Complete daily run/flow sheet reviews for assigned treatments.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and proper electronic charting.
