Job summary

Corewell Health in Muskegon is seeking a Part-time Registered Nurse to join the new infusion therapy location. You will deliver high-quality patient care in a 7-chair infusion clinic, following the nursing process from assessment to evaluation and collaborating with the pharmacy infusion team.

Work is day shift, 20 hours per week, with a supportive, safety-focused environment and comprehensive benefits. The site is at 1675 E Mt Garfield, Muskegon, MI.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing must be obtained within 5 years for those starting after Jan 1, 2017.
• State of Michigan RN license upon hire required.
• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC).

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the nursing process (assess, diagnose, plan, implement, evaluate).
• Uphold ANA standards of nursing ethics.
• Collaborate with infusion clinic team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

This new 7-chair infusion clinic will help keep care local by providing a convenient location for patients to receive non-oncology infusion therapies closer to home, while expanding Corewell Health’s ability to serve the needs of the communities we care for.

About Outpatient Clinics

Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area.

Scope of work

As a Nurse with Corewell Health, providing top-notch patient care is paramount. You'll use your critical thinking skills and the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. You'll be responsible for upholding the standards of nursing excellence as described by the ANA, including the code of ethics. You'll be a vital member of our team and strive to achieve the best possible outcomes, making a real difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Qualifications

• Required Associate's Degree Nursing
• Bachelor’s Degree Nursing must be obtained within 5 years for those who start in this RN role on or after January 1, 2017 Required
• LIC-Registered Nurse (RN) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire Required
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 90 Days Required or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 90 Days Required
