Job summary

Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, KS, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking an Outpatient Infusion Center RN to deliver high-quality care in an outpatient setting. You will administer medications, monitor responses, educate patients, and collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, effective treatment delivery.

The role requires nursing licensure in Kansas, BLS certification, and ONS chemotherapy/biotherapy training within 1 year of hire.

Qualifications

Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
Current RN licensure in Kansas or multi-state RN.
Current BLS certification.
ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy course within 1 year of hire date.

Responsibilities

Delivery of patient care through the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation.
Direct and oversee all nursing care for department patients per hospital standards and the Kansas Nurse Practice Act.
Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care and outcomes.
Support the organization's vision and mission, applying knowledge of patient age and cultural diversity in care.
Contribute to quality nursing care through performance improvement and positive outcomes.
Utilize knowledge of patient age and cultural diversity in care provisions.
