Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, KS, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking an Outpatient Infusion Center RN to deliver high-quality care in an outpatient setting. You will administer medications, monitor responses, educate patients, and collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, effective treatment delivery.

The role requires nursing licensure in Kansas, BLS certification, and ONS chemotherapy/biotherapy training within 1 year of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN licensure in Kansas or multi-state RN.
• Current BLS certification.
• ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy course within 1 year of hire date.

Responsabilités

• Delivery of patient care through the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Direct and oversee all nursing care for department patients per hospital standards and the Kansas Nurse Practice Act.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care and outcomes.
• Support the organization's vision and mission, applying knowledge of patient age and cultural diversity in care.
• Contribute to quality nursing care through performance improvement and positive outcomes.
• Utilize knowledge of patient age and cultural diversity in care provisions.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Schedule: Part time

The Outpatient Infusion Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients receiving infusion and injectable therapies in the outpatient setting. This includes administering medications, monitoring patient responses, providing education, and collaborating with healthcare team to ensure safe and effective treatment delivery.

• You will be responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• You will direct and oversee all nursing care for the department-specific patient population in accordance with the standards of nursing care and practice as defined by our hospital and the Kansas Nurse Practice Act.
• You will collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes.
• You will support the organization's vision and mission and utilize knowledge of patient's age and cultural diversity in the provision of patient care.
• You will contribute to the provision of quality nursing care through performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care.
• You will utilize knowledge of patient’s age and cultural diversity in the provision of care.

What qualifications you will need for this role:

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing
• Current licensure in the State of Kansas a Registered Nurse, or current active multi-state Registered Nurse license
• Current BLS certificationthrough the American Heart Association
• ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy course within 1 year of hire date
