Job summary

Willamette Valley Cancer Institute and Research Center seeks a part-time Infusion Nurse to join our on-call infusion team in Albany and Corvallis, OR. The RN will manage chemotherapy administration, IV therapy, and patient education with emphasis on safety and patient-centered care.

Requirements include an Associate's degree in Nursing, Oregon RN license, and minimum three years of nursing experience; CPR/BLS or ACLS. OCN certification preferred; some shifts may vary.

Qualifications

• Associates in Nursing degree from an accredited program; BSN strongly preferred.
• Minimum of three years nursing experience.

• Current RN license in Oregon; OCN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers chemotherapy, hydration and other meds under physician/APP supervision.
• Maintains patient flow in infusion area.
• Assesses patients for changes in condition and initiates action.
