Job summary

Providence Portland Medical Center in Oregon is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide professional, comprehensive nursing care in an oncology clinic or infusion center. The RN 1 will work with a preceptor and progressively assume responsibility, delivering coordinated, safe, compassionate, evidence-based care to patients and families.

Must have Nursing degree/diploma and Oregon RN license at hire, with BLS through American Heart Association.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree/diploma.
• Upon hire: Oregon Registered Nurse License.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Bachelor's Degree: Nursing; encouraged to obtain within 3 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, comprehensive nursing care for patients in an oncology clinic or infusion center.
• Work with a preceptor initially and assume increasing responsibility to deliver coordinated, safe, compassionate, evidence-based care.
• Adhere to the Nurse Practice Act of the state, ANA Code of Ethics, and applicable standards; participate in care planning with patients and families.
