Qualifications

• BLS certification must be obtained by hire and maintained in position.
• Oncology Certification through ONCC when eligible or 6 oncology CE credits per year (18 total every 3 years) are required for Oncology Commission Cancer cycle.
• ONS Fundamentals of Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Administration Course certified within 6–12 weeks of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and document care for infusion patients across all ages.
• Independently guide nursing practice and evaluate patient outcomes.
• Coordinate care with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive, patient-centered care.
• Provide relationship-based care and education to patients and families undergoing infusion therapy.
