Mercy South is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Oncology Infusion Center to provide compassionate infusion therapies in an outpatient setting. The RN will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver chemotherapy, immunotherapy, blood products, and hydration therapy while closely monitoring responses and safety. Location is the David M.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current, valid RN license.
• CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
• Experience is not required.

Responsabilidades

• Assess patients before, during, and after infusion treatments.
• Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, blood products, hydration therapy, and other infusion medications.
• Monitor patients for treatment responses and adverse reactions.
• Access and maintain peripheral IVs, ports, and central lines.
• Coordinate treatment plans with oncologists, APPs, pharmacists, and staff.
• Educate patients and families on medications, side effects, and ongoing care needs.
• Review laboratory results and communicate findings to the care team.
• Document assessments and treatments in the electronic health record.
• Maintain oncology treatment safety standards and infection prevention practices.
