Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, DC is seeking a full-time Medical Oncology Infusion Nurse to join our dedicated nursing team. The role involves working in the Medical Oncology/Infusion Center with 37 chairs, typically 8-hour day shifts, Monday to Friday, benefitted and with a focus on compassionate, evidence-based infusion therapy.

You will be licensed RN in DC, preferably with Oncology experience and OCN certification; a BSN or second nursing degree is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the District of Columbia.
• BSN or bachelor degree with second nursing degree.
• Minimum 6 months RN experience; oncology exposure preferred.
• OCN preferred; must obtain within 9 months of hire.
• Chemotherapy/Biotherapy course through ONS or completed within 3 months.

Responsabilités

• Administer chemotherapy/biotherapy and monitor patients.
• Provide infusion nursing care for 37 chairs in the center.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Keep up-to-date with oncology best practices and patient education.
