Job summary

Helms Home Care is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to provide infusion therapy in patients' homes across the region. The role focuses on compassionate, personalized care with catheter access, vitals, medication administration, and education tailored to each patient’s needs.

Ideal candidates hold an active RN license with at least one year of infusion experience and reliable transportation. Mileage reimbursement and supplies are provided, plus opportunities for advancement and health benefits.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license.
• Minimum 1 year experience in infusion therapy and/or catheter maintenance.
• Ability to perform vascular access and administer medications as documented.

Responsibilities

• Perform catheter access & care (peripheral IVs, ports, PICC/central lines).
• Take vitals and conduct assessments.
• Administer medications (Abx, TPN, IVIG, and other specialty meds).
• Draw blood as required and provide patient education on self-administration.
• Document visit notes promptly through electronic charting.
