Job summary

Longmont United Hospital is seeking an RN Clinical Coordinator to support the department director by coordinating clinical and department activities, serving as a key clinical resource and role model for the nursing team.

You will lead shift operations, assign duties, promote high-quality patient care, liaise with physicians and the care team, and ensure adherence to professional standards while fostering a collaborative, ethical practice.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing or by endorsement.
• One (1) year of clinical RN experience.
• RN license to practice in state of employment as applicable.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred).
• Nursing Specialty Certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient’s physical, psychosocial, cultural and spiritual needs through observation, interview, review of medical records & clinical data. Evaluates patient’s response and intervenes to ensure optimal patient outcome.
• Develop and implement patient plan of care and observe outcomes in accordance with nursing standards and in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Provides leadership, support, and coordination of unit’s daily operations during designated shift.
• Assists in directing, organizing, and prioritizing all shift activities ensuring patient care and staff needs are met.
• Ensures appropriateness of admissions/cases to the unit/department and that appropriate staff skill mix exists to provide safe patient care.
• Liaison to the multidisciplinary patient care team.
