• Setting: Outpatient Cancer Center Infusion Unit
• Employment Type: Locum Tenens (Travel/Contract)
• Start Date: September 14, 2025
• End Date: December 13, 2025
• Duration: 13-week contract
• Hours per Week: 40
• Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, 8-hour day shifts

Infusion RN Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
• BSN preferred; candidates without a BSN must have 1–2 years of ambulatory oncology nursing experience
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
• Outpatient chemo infusion experience required
• Oncology Nurse Certification (OCN) required after 2 years of hire or after 2,000 hours of oncology nursing practice
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team
• Basic computer proficiency
• Commitment to patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
• Effective communication with patients, peers, physicians, and family members
  
  

Infusion RN Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy and infusion therapies in an outpatient oncology setting
• Deliver patient-centered care including education, care planning, and symptom management
• Coordinate outpatient services and collaborate with interdisciplinary clinical support staff
• Address complex care needs for Cancer Center patients and their caregivers
• Practice according to ANA and Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) standards of care
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to organizational policies and procedures
