Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for Kellogg Cancer Center Infusion Centers. This per diem, as-needed role involves rotating across Evanston, Glenview, Highland Park and other infusion sites, with 7am-6pm shifts on weekdays and occasional travel between sites.

Requirements include Illinois Registered Pharmacy Technician license and a high school diploma. A Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) is preferred and must be obtained within two years of licensure.

Qualifications

• Illinois Registered Pharmacy Technician license required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred; certification required within two years of initial licensure.
• Prior technician or hospital experience preferred; on-the-job training available for motivated individuals.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sterile compounded products for IV infusion in accordance with sterile clean room regulations.
• Ensure there is adequate inventory of supplies and medications available for patient care.
• Assist pharmacists in maintaining medications records and files as needed.
• Place medication and supply orders to maintain appropriate inventory levels.
• Other duties as assigned.
