Option Care Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist licensed pharmacists in ensuring smooth pharmacy operations and compliance with policies and state regulations. Responsibilities include processing prescriptions, preparing medications, maintaining equipment, and supporting patient needs across inventory and delivery planning.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, up to 6 months of experience, and be willing to obtain licensure or registration as required by state law.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 0 to 6 months of relevant experience.
• Licensed or registered within 6 months of hire as required by state.
• Successful enrollment and completion of the OCH designated training course within 6 months of hire.

Mansioni

• Review/validate basic prescription drug refill requests and process according to OCH policies.
• Assist with preparing and dispensing medications and supplies.
• Maintain equipment through calibration, inspection, cleaning, testing; inform supervisor of defects.
• Collect and maintain basic patient information to ensure accurate planning of needed materials and prescriptions.
• Help ensure a positive patient experience by answering basic questions and requests.
• Schedule routine patient deliveries; track inventory with accurate data entry.
