Option Care Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy operations under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist. You will assist with prescription processing, dispensing medications, and maintaining equipment and inventory, while ensuring accurate patient information and a positive patient experience.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and 0–6 months of related experience, plus basic computer skills and attention to detail.

Formación

• Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services and evaluating satisfaction.
• Ability to perform basic and intermediate mathematical calculations.
• Basic level skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsabilidades

• Review/validate basic prescription drug refill requests and process according to OCH policies and procedures.
• Assist with preparing and dispensing medications and supplies.
• Assist with maintaining equipment through calibration, inspection, cleaning, testing, and informing supervisor of defects.
• Collect and maintain basic patient information to ensure accurate planning of materials, equipment, and prescriptions.
• Help ensure a positive patient experience by answering basic patient questions and requests.
• Receive and verify quantities of incoming supplies; stock and store materials; review expiration dates; identify shortages.
