Option Care Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support licensed pharmacists in processing prescriptions, preparing medications, and maintaining equipment across our infusion operations. The role emphasizes patient-focused service, accurate data entry, and efficient inventory management.

Responsibilities include handling basic patient information, answering questions, processing refills, and ensuring clean, organized work areas.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Licensed or registered within 6 months where state requires.
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
• Basic Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Review/validate basic prescription drug refill requests and process per policies.
• Assist with preparing and dispensing medications and supplies.
• Assist with maintaining equipment through calibration, inspection, cleaning, testing, and report defects.
• Collect and maintain basic patient information for planning materials and prescriptions.
• Support a positive patient experience by answering questions and responding to requests.
• Receive and verify quantities of incoming supplies and materials.
• Stock and store new supplies; review expiration dates and shortages.
• Pick and pack materials; create tickets; track inventory in systems; schedule routine patient deliveries.
• Clean and sanitize surfaces and laminar hood flows; organize supplies.
