Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess a Pharmacy Technician license in state of employment.

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist with the preparation and dispensing of medications and supplies using appropriate techniques.
• Perform basic pharmaceutical calculations to obtain correct dose of medication.
• Demonstrate safety, sterile product processing and infection control practices.
• Dispense products and record in pharmacy management software for delivery documents.
• Ensure licensed pharmacist on duty properly checks all prescriptions prior to delivery.
