Job summary

Self Regional Healthcare in Greenwood, SC is seeking a Pharmacy IV Admixture Tech II to join the Infusion Therapy Pharmacy in the Resource Pool. Qualifications

• Must be registered with the SC Pharmacy Board as a technician.
• Preferred to be certified by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) and registered as a Certified Pharmacy Technician.
• Graduate of an approved Pharmacy Technician program with documentation of required hours.
• If not certified, certifications must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Basic typing skills and working knowledge of computers and equipment used for preparation and distribution.

Responsibilities

• Drug distribution services and order entry functions.
• Clerical duties as part of the infusion therapy pharmacy operations.
• Preparation of pharmaceutical doses and IV admixtures including chemotherapy or hazardous medications.
• Maintain adequate inventory of in-date pharmaceuticals and assist with performance improvement activities.
