Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina is seeking an Ambulatory Infusion Pharmacy Technician to support the ambulatory infusion program at the HCC Karesh House Oncology Infusion in Camden, SC. The role involves assisting a pharmacist, preparing doses per USP 797, stocking supplies, and handling labels and prepacked orders on site.

The ideal candidate will have 2 years of pharmacy experience, current SCBOP registration, and certification through PTCB or ExCPT.

Qualifications

• 2 years work experience in a pharmacy setting.
• Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician by the State of South Carolina Board of Pharmacy (SCBOP) is required and must be maintained.
• Must obtain and maintain Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or ExCPT).

Responsibilities

• Assist a registered pharmacist with dispensing processes.
• Prepare hazardous and non-hazardous doses per USP 797.
• Receive and stock incoming supplies and manage inventory.
• Prepare labels and routine prepacked orders.
• May perform clerical duties for the department.
• Deliver medications to the infusion suite as needed.
