Option Care Health is seeking a Pharmacy Operations Assistant to support pharmacy operations under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist. Responsibilities include validating prescription drug refill requests, assisting with medication preparation, and ensuring a positive patient experience through effective communication.

Qualifications

• 0 to 6 months of relevant experience preferred.
• Licensed or registered within 6 months of hire if required.
• Must complete designated training course within 6 months of hire if required.

Responsibilities

• Review and validate prescription drug refill requests.
• Assist with preparing and dispensing medications and supplies.
• Collect and maintain basic patient information.
• Ensure positive patient experience by responding to inquiries.
• Receive and verify incoming supplies and materials.
• Stock and store new supplies and materials.
• Track inventory through accurate data entry.
