Qualifications
- Infusion pharmacy experience required.
- Doctor of Pharmacy degree required.
- Licensed Pharmacist by Arkansas State Board.
Responsibilities
- Accept and dispense prescription medications.
- Monitor patient medication compliance and over-usage patterns.
- Ensure medicines are prescribed appropriately and within legal requirements.
- Advise patients on medications, dosing, reactions and interactions.
- Provide services such as blood pressure measurement and cholesterol management.
- Prepare sterile solutions and compound medications as needed.
- Supervise pharmacy staff including technicians and clerks.
- Maintain confidential patient records and pharmacy files.
- Identify drug-related problems and communicate with physicians and other healthcare practitioners.
