Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Unrestricted Certified Pharmacy Technician required.
• Two years of experience in hospital IV room or home infusion.
• Working knowledge of computer systems, insurance and 3rd party payors, medications and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Sets up, cleans, and disinfects exam rooms and medical equipment and maintains stock of medications and medical supplies.
• Receives medical supplies and inventory; manages medication and medical supply inventory systems.
• Maintains accuracy in processing orders.
• Safely and aseptically prepares biologic and other medications for Infusion Center patients.
• Other duties as assigned.
