This position currently falls under the Centers for Medicare and Medicare Services (CMS) vaccine mandate. If you are selected for this position, you will be required to comply with CMS requirements. This position is responsible for all prescription data entry and order processing with the primary goal to service patients within our Infusion Centers (IC’s). This includes processing new Rx’s and refilling current Rx’s for patients scheduled to receive infusions. This person must be able to multitask between different communication streams and software systems. This is an on-site position with an anticipated work schedule of Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm (no weekends). No travel is required.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or GED required. A current, unrestricted pharmacy technician license in the state of practice, and pharmacy technician certification required.
Experience: Two years’ experience in a pharmacy setting preferred. Home Infusion pharmacy experience required. Prior managerial experience a plus. Must be proficient in computer skills, including MS Office.
Functional Competencies: Written and verbal communication, prioritization, attention to detail, organization, time management, follow-up, decision making, initiative.
