Job summary

Option Care Health, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to lead safe, compliant pharmacy services and to serve as PIC.

You will oversee sterile compounding, cleanroom activities, budgeting, and cross‑functional collaboration with nursing, delivery, and reimbursement teams. The role requires a licensed Pharmacist with leadership experience, strong quality improvement skills, and the ability to ensure regulatory compliance across patient care settings.

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist in the state(s) of practice.
• Must meet State Board of Pharmacy requirements to serve as PIC.
• Experience leading a pharmacy team in infusion/sterile compounding is preferred.
• Leadership experience including directing others’ work and coordinating staffing.

Responsibilities

• Determine patient suitability for home or alternate-site care and supervise care quality.
• Monitor patient safety and respond to adverse trends and audit findings.
• Ensure sterile compounding standards and staff competency.
• Oversee cleanroom controls, equipment, and environmental monitoring.
• Lead the pharmacy quality-management and patient-safety program.
• Direct pharmacy department activities and staffing to meet patient needs.
• Oversee purchasing, inventory, and budget adherence.
• Mentor staff and provide ongoing training and development.
• Coordinate on-call pharmacy coverage and leadership presence.
