MultiCare Cancer Institute seeks a Pharmacist Infusion to ensure prompt and accurate pharmaceutical care for patients, nurses, and physicians. The role offers opportunities to apply pharmacology expertise toward high-quality patient care in a comprehensive oncology setting.

The position requires graduation from an accredited college of pharmacy and WA licensure, with ASHP residency preferred and at least one year of pharmacy experience in a hospital, retail, clinic, or similar setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Licensed as a pharmacist in the State of Washington.
• Completion of an ASHP accredited pharmacy residency preferred.
• Minimum one year of pharmacy experience preferred in setting appropriate to work assignment (hospital, retail, clinic or other)
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association.

Responsabilités

• Dispense medications to patients and interpret IV admixture orders and prepare primary IV/solutions.
• Manufacture nonstandard pharmaceutical preparations when required and maintain appropriate records.
• Supervise support personnel and assume responsibility for final check of all completed work.
• Assist in the inspection of all pharmaceutical supplies on all services.
• Provide for safe and accurate provision of pharmaceutical care service.

Formation

Graduate of an accredited college of pharmacy

Licensed as a pharmacist in the State of Washington

ASHP accredited pharmacy residency

Pharmacy experience (hospital/retail/clinic)

Current BLS for Healthcare Providers
