Job summary

MultiCare Cancer Institute in Washington state is seeking a Pharmacist Infusion Specialty Services professional to ensure prompt and accurate pharmaceutical care for patients, nurses and physicians. Qualifications

• Licensed as a pharmacist in Washington state.
• Completion of an ASHP-accredited pharmacy residency preferred.
• Minimum one year of pharmacy experience preferred in hospital, retail, clinic or other.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications to patients and interpret IV admixture orders and prepare primary IV/solutions.
• Manufacture nonstandard pharmaceutical preparations when required and maintain records.
• Supervise support personnel and assume responsibility for final check of all completed work.
• Assist in inspection of all pharmaceutical supplies on all services.
• Provide for safe and accurate provision of pharmaceutical care service.
