Job summary

Atrium Health in Charlotte, NC is seeking a full-time Pharmacist for Infusion. The role covers six Pharmacy Infusion locations across the Charlotte region, with supervision of pharmacy staff and collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure safe, effective therapy.

The position supports medication safety and formulary management. Responsibilities include staff mentoring, literature reviews, patient education, and adherence to regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or PharmD degree from ACPE-accredited school.
• FPGEC certificate from NABP acceptable.
• Current licensure in NC/SC or eligible for reciprocity.

Responsibilities

• Oversees pharmaceutical care, including reviewing literature and designing therapy regimens.
• Provides counseling to patients and caregivers on medication use, adverse effects, and adherence.
• Interprets medication orders and prescriptions accurately.
• Participates in medical emergencies and quality improvement activities.
• Ensures medication storage and handling follow state and federal regulations.
