Job summary

Optum seeks an Infusion Staff Pharmacist for our Home Infusion Pharmacy in Woburn, MA. This on-site role focuses on dispensing IG/chronic medications, coordinating with patients and providers, and ensuring clinical accuracy and safety.

The schedule is Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm ET with on-call rotation every third week. Requires Massachusetts pharmacist license and 1+ year of pharmacy practice; prior home infusion experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist license in MA and Pharmacy degree (PharmD/B.Pharm).
• 1+ years pharmacy practice experience.
• Ability to communicate with a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficient with computers (Outlook/Excel).

Responsibilities

• Dispense unit doses, injectables, IV and related supplies per regulations.
• Process and ship pharmacy orders with education materials.
• Manage inventory and refrigeration for perishable products.
• Verify prescriptions for accuracy and reimbursement.
• Coordinate with patients and providers to set up treatment in on-site facilities.
• Ensure compliance with FDA/DEA/state regulations and safety standards.
