Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD required.
• Current Massachusetts pharmacist license.
• 1+ years of pharmacy practice experience.
• Experience communicating with a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficiency with Outlook and Excel.
• Ability to take calls after hours, weekends and holidays.
• Participation in on-call rotation as needed.

Responsibilities

• Dispense unit doses, injectables, IV and related supplies in compliance with regulations.
• Process, pack and ship outgoing pharmacy orders with patient education materials.
• Manage inventory and proper refrigeration of perishable products; calibrate equipment.
• Review and verify prescriptions; determine reimbursement/coverage where applicable.
• Communicate with patients and providers to coordinate care and resolve issues.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and supervise pharmacy staff as needed.
